I think I'll see what happens using Firefox...

Firefox asked whether I wanted the password to be remembered. I said yes, and the system now recognises me.... via Firefox.

There is a chance you inadvertently opted to "never remember for this site" at some point.

I've discovered that Firefox is connecting me much faster, so I'm pleased to have started this thread.

Naturally, I have no idea why Firefox is so much quicker than Internet Explorer.

I had a run-in with IE the other day. Our timekeeping application here at work was supposedly designed for IE and they don't support better browsers like Firefox or Chrome. Chrome actually works best for everyday tasks as the other two I have, IE and Firefox require some widgets or add-ins or something to be loaded every time I open it. Chrome just goes straight in with no waiting. However, if I need to change my saved time codes I can't do it in Chrome or in Firefox as it returns errors. So, back to IE.

So, after the new year, they changed how we record time off, so I had to change one of my saved time codes... Chrome? NOPE, denied. Firefox? Nope, denied...

Damnit, I blow the dust off of IE and use it, wait for the interminable apples to load. Now, here's another bad thing. When I open the actual time sheet app, it opens in a new window. (In FF, and Chrome, it opens in a new tab). In all three browsers we occasionally get an error when saving our changes where the changes don't save. The little wheel just keeps spinning. I discovered that if we hit the back button, it will close the spinning wheel notice (saving...) and clicking save again will usually be successful...


So, in IE, I get the spinning wheel of death.....


THERE IS NO ING BACK!!!

(Ok, actually there was but it was really small and not where I expected it.)

Anyways... I don't use Internet Exploder if I can avoid it.
