the saddest thing about all this is that terrorism seems here to stay, no matter what we do.
Maybe it's because of what we do?

Thank goodness. It seems everyone has either checked in or someone else has posted that they are okay.

Absolutely. That's what's so lovely about hootoo, people caring about each other. I'm still finding it really hard though when I listen to the news about those that did die or were maimed horribly.

In one piece! As this is my off-shift week, I was nowhere near central London. You may all be relieved now.
In seriousness, I hope that no-one around here has been affected by the blasts, and my thoughts go out to those who were.

I'm safely in Warwickshire - in termtime, I'd have been on a Piccadilly line tube southbound to Russell Sq., so even though I'm not in London right now it made sense to post here.
Whoami?

I was in Leeds on a course when it happened - I brought two other people back with me in the car, as there were worries about the rail connections. Little was with my parents who came to look after him. As we live south of the river, we weren't affected.
I've the deepest sympathies with anyone involved and send prayers.

I live a ten minute walk from Kings X, work a further 10 minute walk from Kings X, past Euston, and normally get a No. 30 bus.
I'm still here, and pass my condolences on to anyone that's been affected.
