Well, yes. And then there is Ford Prefect, of course. We never heard anything about his - er - let's for the sake of the argument call them "parents" - did we?

"parents"?
I seem to recall a passing reference to them
as not approving his youthful association with
a young Zaphod Beeblebrox whom they considered
a bad influence and liable to lead him astray.
Whether this was a line from the TV or Radio or
something mentioned in the books or even just an
idea added by my imagination I am not be certain.

I'm sure there was a line about him and Zaphod having three of the same mothers, or something...
Really need to listen to the radio series again.
