A Conversation for Guinness

Okay, so the guinness shandy isn't too popular. Here's another cool thing to try instead - the Guinness ice lolly. The cool thing about this is that you actually can freeze the head on the pint (unfortunately on the bottom, coz you have to invert it to eat it) Basically - pour a pint of guinness, sweeten it (my choice was Tia Maria - tasty but has the disadvantage of making the top of the lolly a little bit pokey (I'm guessing the alcohol sinks), stick a fork (or other lolly stick substitute) in it, and then lob it in the freezer. Once again, a lot better than you'd expect, and the head freezes with a great texture(although not much flavour) . If you'd like to try this though I would recommend not going for a full pint - it's a very daunting lolly.
The other experiment I'd like to try, but haven't yet, is to make guinness jelly. I'm not sure how feasible this is, but it has to be worth a try (just the thing to liven up a kids birthday party!)

Actually Guinness with Tia-Maria in it is a rather nice drink.
As a Guinness drinker, you may want to start with a single shot in
a pint, but move on to the doubles.
Even stout haters love this stuff.
Costs an awful lot in the pub though

The strangest guiness experiment i ever drank is served in a cocktail bar in the navigli quarter, milano. Take one part of guiness, one part of amaretto, one part of prosecco, shake it and offer it to a friend who is in need of a next morning headache.
