The calendar part of the world is never my strong suit. I can look right at a date and think only, 'That's three days after the next Post issue,' and totally forget that it is, say, my birthday. So keeping track of a moveable feast isn't easy if there are no deadlines.
Alas, the choir got cancelled along with everything else this spring. Including, apparently, spring - at least, judging from the snow outside, which started falling last evening, to the utter disgust of me, Elektra, the dog, the cats (dunno why, they never go out) and several dozen birds. It's melting, though not as rapidly as we would like to see. If we can believe the weather people, it should get gone tomorrow, which should be sunny and warmer. But the wind is howling right now, and it's going to be a cold night. I'm praying for our daffodils to survive.
What with the plague and all, I forgot to post my Palm Sunday song. Which is probably no loss to the world, but I'd meant to put it up. So here it is, on Good Friday. It's set to an old folk tune, and will not win any Dove awards (if you don't know, don't ask).

Words:
Tune: I Once Loved a Lass (Trad.)
He rode on a donkey, Jerusalem cheered:
They shouted 'Hosanna, Messiah is here!
Let the trumpet resound for the jubilee year,
And his kingdom will go on forever.'
In less than a week, the skies turned to grey,
They applauded a different messiah that day.
'We've no king but Caesar,' was all they would say,
'And his empire will go on forever.'
This world is in haste, and it's nearing its end.
The emperor's finished: no use to pretend.
I look to the skies and I wait for my friend,
For his kingdom will go on forever.
The lion, the lamb, and the Shepherd and me,
We all will be happy together, you'll see,
The world will have peace and its people be free,
And His kingdom will go on forever.

(As many here "know" me and that I'm an atheist/don't believe in gods etc)
BUT! That doesn't stop me hoping that ONE day, there WILL be peace on earth! = 1 planet! 1 people! Total harmony for all

I hope you're doing better than you were, FWR. You've been through an ordeal that no one should endure.
I hope you'll go on many more rallies over the coming years.

Love the Palm Sunday song, and with the music score on the video, good to see the notes.
I must brush up on my reading of musical notation, I used to be able to read it, never expertly, but enough. I still can read it in an elementary form, this would be a good time to re-learn.
Good Friday, Saturday, then Easter Day.
I think about the symbolism and stories of Easter, what with being raised in a church family.
Noli me tangere, the garden, the grave, the resurrection, roll away the stone, Mary Magdalene. What did happen that day? Touch me not, I live with you in your hearts now. Did Mary see a figure? A spirit, or is it purely symbolic.
I'm often there, in the garden, I cry a lot about it. Like, I'm there, as if a friend of mine had been murdered for no other reason that to suggest that people love their neighbour as themselves, and sort themselves out, and stop hating. But then curious visions appear, and hope somehow renews through their spirit.
Bit heavy, sorry, just thinking in type. Thanks for the inspiration, friend.
Good Friday

I think that a couple of dotted half notes look like dotted quarter notes. The two half notes at the end do look like half notes, anyway.
