Fair enough.

So does that mean you've actually finished your Christmas shopping now?

Yeah, bloody IE. I was trying to look at some other website t'other day and it just wouldn't download a page properly - errors fouling it up all over, but worked fine in Netscape. Crazy.

Currently trying to cure my hangover with the power of positive thinking.

Don't work, hangovers can only be cured (mine anyway) with time, although on Friday I made a good effort at the old saying "avoid hangovers-stay drunk" as party ended about 06:00.

Serious note - avoid them or make them less bad try taking an ammino acid called N-Acetyl Cysteine (from good health food shops) helps break down the nasties.

I have, indeed, finished my xmas shopping, and not a moment too soon. Yay!

I find that Extra Strength Tylenol does the trick for me. If you want to avoid hangovers altogether (or lessen their impact if you've *really* overdone it), then drink as much water as you can stand before going to bed. It's the dehydration that makes you feel so awful in the morning. Believe me, this works like a charm.

I've avoided many hangovers this way (in my younger days when I drank enough to risk a hangover, that is). The only problem with this method is remembering to do it whilst in the state of being very drunk.

Sound advice, I shall know for next time (which there will certainly be, probably pretty soon).

I have spent today feeling absolutely lousy, despite painkillers, drinking buckets of water/coke/even a glass of wine!!

I think things are exaserbated by the addition of lack of decent sleep, as although I was out cold last night, I woke up not feeling as if I'd slept at all.

And with sore feet - bloody party shoes smiley - smiley

there is a big difference between passing out and going to sleep, I took days to recover from Friday night when we "passed out" at about 05:30

You have to drink the water *before* you go to sleep, Frizz. smiley - smiley Anyway, I assume you're feeling much better by now.
