Can I join too?
There are luggage lockers in Spanish railway stations where you push buttons for instructions in your own pet language. English speakers can choose American or British English. The only difference is the extra first instruction for the Americans -
1. Find an empty locker

This isn't an example of stupidity. Most Americans need the extra instruction. I can say that because I live in America.

ICARUS, did you say you are american or just life there. If the latter I can see why you keep your true identity secret as most contries (not just the states) view themselves as the best, most intelegent etc in the world. It take a brave person to find fault in their own country. Have you ever read any Bill Bryson?

I am an American, at least inasmuch as I've lived here all my life.

In that case Maximum Respect, to see the stupidity where-ever it lies no matter what country is totally cool. Under your leadership stupidity may be vanquished world wide! (except from one small flat, in a small coastal town somewhere in the vicinity of South West England)
