I've been reading Kevin Murphy's book "A Year at the Movies" and would recommend it to any MST3K fans. It is a chronicle of his quest to see at least one film every day in an actual cinema -- no home video, no auditing Art of the Cinema classes at the local technical college. Very enjoyable, much more than a simple humour book. And I won it from Mr Murphy himself, at a film festival here in Minneapolis last year.
I met Mary Jo Pehl at a party a few years ago, and I hope I don't spoil your image of her, but she's much nicer than Mrs. Forrester. Quite charming actually.

I had the pleasure of also meeting Mr. Murphy, while he was compiling his data for said book. I was working in a "Googleplex," (a 200+ screen theatre) and was extremely star-struck by him. I got him to sign a blank ticket stub and also chatted him up about the future book. He's a top bloke, that Kevin Murphy. Good people. I'm not sure why, but I get really nervous around people I consider celebrities. I've had the pleasure to meet fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore and Minnesota musician Micheal Loonan, both of who were quite nice. All the while I sweated and stammered like a 5- year old forced to perform Hamlet's soliloquey.

A Year at the Movies was one of the best non-fiction books I've ever read. Not to mention you're looking at MiSTie #4447. I would gladly eat your brain if I would gain that experience of talking to Mr. Murphy by doing so.
