h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Tom-'Who said that?'

That's the object of the game ladies and gentlemen, tell us who said what in which episode.

Rules:
1a. Quotes must be specific to only one episode. So, no 'Huzzah!'.
1b. Quotes must be said by a character directly from MST3K. However, it is acceptable to precede the quote with the one from the movie that prompts it (if there is one).
2. Whoever thinks up the next quote first gets to post it.
3. No posting new quotes until the answer from the last has been given.
4. Play lasts until we get sick of it.

2 pts for who said it
5 pts for both

I will keep track of score, since this was my idea. Everyone who gets the right answer before the correct one is given gets points.

Ready? Here's the first one:

'I saw some smoke, it's time for lunch, look at this tree'

You could guess the character who says it. There's only four to choose from.

There are only 3 of us here and 66 and 2/3 % of us don't know. But I will guess characters, gypsy, crow, tom, joel, mike, frank, dr. f, torgo, erhardt, and Kim Katrall.

Rule 1c. Quotes must be said by someone in the theater.

Maybe my quote was too hard. Here's another quote from the same episode, by the same person.

'Welcome to my gramma's living room.'

And here's another hint: it's from a Sci-Fi episode. So, you know it's not Joel.

You know, I think it is harder to remember lines from in the theater than in bits performed by the crew.

Really? I think it's the other way around for me.

Sorry I've got a really bad memory. Maybe it was crow and his chicken doll from that worm hole thing.

Since it's from a sci-fi episode, and you mentioned "doll", I'll guess it is from Devil Doll.

Prince of Space

I'm gonna give Siguy another day to try. Anyone want to try to guess the character?

Forget the day, my memory stinks and it aint getting any better. So you might as well just give the answer and we will see if the next round can keep the thread going.

The answer is Mike in Prince of Space. I love this episode, mainly because it was the first Sci-Fi episode that I got to see.
