Has Shim's blue fish been disabled?
RFJS__ - trying to write an unreadable book, finding proofreading tricky Started conversation Apr 30, 2009
It used to be the case that Shim's account, and only that account, would display as http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/images/s_fish.gif - as noted on A2593992.
I think I remember seeing the blue fish in action, but in these posts by Shim I see a normal fish now:
F7926?thread=10611&skip=0&show=5#p33501
F7926?thread=10611&skip=75&show=5#p86753
What happened? Did the special code get lost? (F47996?thread=6412365&skip=20&show=20#p77447715 mentions a conversion from C++ to C#.) If so, has it been put out to pasture? Or has it been secretly reassigned to some other staff UID...?

Nothing wrong, there is still no other researcher imposing the real Shim

Oh, I see: the Shim posting to F7926?thread=10611&skip=75&show=5#p86753 is U168515, not U23.
Hmm: Researcher 23 has a rather disappointing Personal Space, I must say.

You can still see it in action, as I borrowed it for my own Upage, (at the end of the Prisoner quote that scrolls across the top of the page).

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
