It's looking a lot better than it was. I've still got space in the big box in the kitchen if I shuffle things around a bit. Besides, I don't entertain much so it ain't such a biggie.

2. Shelfage/bookcasage.
3. De-clutter...
4. Didn't I notice some unused* cupboards in the kitchen?

You really are determined that I should hang the guitars aren't you? I'm still considering it, though today's reshuffle has created a couple of prime spots for double guitar stands.
The unused kitchen cupboards are no longer unused: I've bought stuff of a foodie nature.

It must be contagious, this doing stuff lark! EV and I spent the evening rearranging our bedroom and humping boxes of stuff about. We still haven't unpacked properly!

Re: guitar hanging.... I just look about this room ere I'm in, there are at least seven guitars, which if all in stands would mean I couldn't fit the two guitar amps, three sets of speakers, computer desk, PC and assorted other junk in the room.... having them hung up just creates so much more space Another useful thing might be a couple or more of coat peg racks on the wall; one is always good for coats and clothes and towels and such like, but if I've ever got any spare ones they go up for keeping cables on and headphones on and such like having said which I've practally got an entire room in my house devoted to storing cables, not very often used electrical items, and guitar parts We've only got three PCs in the fron room now I can get to the sofa again

Skankster: I really do want to get the tune done! Now the room is approaching sorted I can get on with it, but I need to find somewhere for the keyboard...
*excuses? What excuses?*
No, seriously, I will get on it tomorrow.

It'll probably be better too!
In my defence, 2legs has heard the burbling, squeeping wibble fest that I was initially going to submit before it got to squeepy and wibbly. I believe he even played with a squibbly knob over it.

I can recommend hangy-type guitar stands -

Fornication Nasal Appendage - it came with the house. You think that's bad, you should see the fairy lights in the bathroom
