Blimey, that was possibly the best Dr Who story I've seen! Well, apart from City Of Death of course.

I was a bit disappointed by the whole 'and then he did this...' bit: that was an anticlimax. But on the whole it was fantastic with some real heart wrenching moments.

BTW: this journal isn't a snub at the Dr Who thread and inhabitants thereof, it's just that I don't want to have to second guess myself when discussing a TV programme!

I did blow the fuse/trip switch in the house a day or so back... when I had the PC amp speakers and loads of stuf fon in the studeo... then turned on one* final extra item I've not watched it yet either... will probably watch it Monday

Thread hijacking isn't a problem. CUP telling me to put my stuff in storage and get out *is* a problem.

I was given until the end of June. I thought I might move out before so, when I got paid, I gave CUP one week's rent (he was on the phone at the time, but he's always on the bloody phone).

I sorted out a flat this morning but won't be moving in until July 10th.

CUP came in a few minutes ago and said that I can bugger off now.

All who know of this situation think CUP is being an absolute fluckwit. Right now CUP's mate Chris is giving him a berating. 8" just went home in disgust.

I'm fairly sure that 8" will put me up if necessary, but I'm not sure my bottie could handle it.

8" is a mate whose been mentioned in my journal before: lives round the corner and I think my occasional nights round his place have made CUP jealous! He's known CUP for years and is disgusted by CUP's current behaviour.

His nickname is 8" for obvious reasons (he's reached parts others haven't reached.) Lovely chap, and I think 2legs is jealous...



This is all somewhat off topic. Still, we could be in Palestine or Israel and in fear of being bombed so topic drift and landlord/flatmate issues leading to potential imminent homelessness are relatively trivial.

Don't think I've ever been over there naa... must of at some point we'll have to arrange a pub to meet up in for a drink or a cafe at some point now you've moved to 'the big city' once you've unpacked actually... I think I've stll maybe got one unpacked box in my loft... from wehn I moved in... seven years ago I'd offer to put you up Roy but what with me being here and your work over there, the train ride would be a nightmare for you to get to work

Yeah, we'd better do it before I finish unpacking or we could both be too old to get to the pub!
