Hmm, even if the Moon turned to blood it wouldn t get an atmosphere. It just haven t got the gravity for it. And certainly not if it was turned from rock to blood.
Bradley s red moon, was that the Earth s moon or just any moon. Cos if you had a moon made out of the same as Mars, you have a red moon. No problem there.
Actually some very weird things seem to have been observed with the Moon, so it turning blood red might happen.

Would the moon's gravity be able to hold onto blood? seems to me that it'd all evaporate off, and after a few millenia, we'd have no moon any more...
