Modern Funeral Fashion
Mol - on the new tablet Posted Aug 23, 2016
My dad, who feels he has spent too long in the departure lounge and just wants the final flight to turn up, has said no funeral, just drinks in the pub. He was horrified by his father in law's funeral a few years ago, particularly the funeral cortege - 'forty miles an hour! On a dual carriageway! When we could have done 70!'
So I'm not sure what I'll wear, when the time comes. But I am sure I won't be worrying about what other people are wearing.
If there's no specific instruction to wear colour, I go fairly formal in black trousers and white blouse (also my standard election day outfit). If we're asked to wear colour, I dress up my hair or wear a coloured scarf or cardigan.
