Whatever happened to subliminal messaging: buy this, be a good citizen, socialism is bad, pay your taxes, vote me, conform, work hard, work unions are bad, bad people live in poor villages across the other side of the world, billionaires are good people and you can become one if you work hard, technology can solve everything, the military is needed to protect you, politicians are good people, 2 + 2 = 5 if we say so, ...

If it's subliminal, it's supposed to be so subtle that people aren't conscious of it. 
So, if it's still there we wouldn't know about it anyway.
