You could get a useful answer, but only if you're playing the 17 Switcheroo from Russell Square...

It's very simple. The winner is the first to reach Mornington Crescent, but it honestly wouldn't be possible to take you through all the common variations in this small space. If you're really keen, I recommend Stovold's Laws of Mornington Crescent (1938).
To be honest, you pick it up far quicker by playing it. I suggest we have a game at standard rules, but I suggest as you're a beginner we make diagonals wild.
Kea, as the youngest, you may begin

Don't expect me to give you too much advice! I'm quite competitive when I get going.

Well, if you started from, say, Tekapo then what's your first move to get to London?
Then, when you've got as far as some Tube station or other, someone will/might give you a next move.

I have to go, Rod, so I'll leave you in charge. As a hint: I don't think Fords has remembered there's an Olympic Games being held this year

Thanks for giving an actual useful instruction Rod So the point of the game is to post streets that connect up going to a destination?

I'm assuming one of the rules is that you're not allowed to explain the game to anyone who doesn't know how to play?
