Taxing The Wealthy (Greek Orthodox Church).

I get the impression from this and other reports that the Government of Greece is picking on the Orthodox Church.
Anyone know if that is the case?
If it is, is not that a bit discriminatory? Shouldn't they be taxing all financial interests of all the different denominations, faith institutions?
Or disestablishing the church and making them pay their own stipends so raising taxes in them instead of funding them from other people's tax?
