TAKE NOTES!!!!
dont try to write down everything or write down too little....just key things, like say if it is history, you write the person...events....stuff like that not complete sentances, leave lots of room, and look over them later use them...that is why you took them....there will be no busy work to help you study, you must do that by yourself..USE THE NOTES! you could be the best notetaker in the world, but unless you use them, you will do no better than the worst note taker...

lAUNDRY
WHITES:anything white sucvhas white tee shirts, undies, sheetes,
socks, gray, and yellow things too. dont use bleech unless you have too.
if you have to use bleech, then put it in the water before you put the clothes in, and follow the dirrections on the bottle.

JEANS:
older jeans can go in with khackies....dont put new coloured jeans in with khakies...wash them separately
denim is a rough fabris, and will make items such as flannel, and nice dress shirts nasty....dont mix theese items...
sweaters never belong here....never!!!!

COLOURS:
includes red...pink...orange..black...green..blue...purple...and brown......anything else dark

wash your shoes with towels, as this helps to get the shoes clean.
white towels go with the whites...coloured towles go with the colours

HAND WASH:
yes, any idiot can hand wash things...just fill the sink with COLD water and a little tablespoon full of detergent, then wash one article of clothing at a time starting with the whites, then the colours...
swish the clothing around with your hand for about 2 minutes, then rinse it off, wring it out, and hang it to dry....water tends to drip off ofg wet items...put a bucket or a towle under it

CLASS:
Dont skip class!!!!!
DONT SKIP CLASS!!!!!
just because you can...dont...if you skip class, you dont get notes. if you dont get notes, you dont study. if you dont study, you dont pass. if you dont pass, you pay to take the class again.

stay sober/clean the first week of class, and at least the week before/of a test!

get 2 alarm clocks...set them both
you must get up to go to class...

And read A419113!!!!!!

Sorry indi - I never read my notes, just taking them somehow glued them into my brain

But I agree - go to classes - it may seem a bind, and a bit like school, but you'll never get another chance - and lets face it they are being paid for (by someone?)

Don't just get stuck in a clique: take the opportunity to meet as many peopls as you can: character building, and you never know when the contacts may come in useful. Do something extra-curricular ditto

And have a really good time!

Alright - I got GNVQ - it's "General Non-Vocational Qualification" right? But what's ICT (other than a chilled herbal infusion drunk by hot Americans? )

ICT = Information and Computer technologies (i think)

just finnished my second day, i'm doing the intermediate course (due to lack or GCSEs) and it's actualy rather boring, but easy so I don't mind.

But don't spend all your workshop/learning centre time accessing H2G2 ok?

Don't be afraid to ask questions in the early stages, thinking that you'll look a twit, because if you don't ask you'll look a much bigger twit later!

Be very nice to the staff in the library/learning centre/computer labs or whatever they call them at your place of study - it costs nothing and always pays dividends.
