Well I was thinking GMT is the standad time for all of the UK.
BST just tells you the time differnce for Summer.
In Winter it is DST Daylight Saving Time or BWT British Winter Time.

As I said on a different thread a while back, when someone can only communicate through words, it is hard to get across how the mean. When we talk to someone, we base our reactions one the words as much as on the tone of voice, expression and body movement as on the actual words spoken.
So something that may seem grumpy can actually be a joke, or a normal remark. Its jsut how the words are interpreted.
In the end, I guess people really let their personalities show on the internet and h2g2, nobody knows for sure who the person on the other end is, and won't be embarrased every time they see them for what they say.
And judging someone on their appearance stops too, because you can't, in most circumstances.
I guess you can almost say you are less judged and more respected for your opinion here. After all, where else can you have a discussion like this with a complete stranger? And if you say something you regret, people don't remember it as well.
Of course, people can lie on the web, but the conversations are still 'real' for the other person, it makes no difference, and it can cause some interesting discussions.
