Has anyone else read Anthony Burgess's 'Enderby' novels?

Well, since you ask...I rarely read more than a few sentences while I'm in there. I just need to have a book with me anyway, though.

That's why a lot of them are things like books of trivia, quotations, and seed catalogues rather than novels or scholarly history books.

Edward: since you ask...

There are certain times of the month when I find the loo is just the most comfortable place to sit for easing cramps. Hence the need for reading material in there.

I try not to spend too long in there. I think that's the result of having been locked in a few in my time smiley - blush

The Economist is my preferred toilet reading, though a fair few novels end up in there - whatever I'm reading at the time.
