My current job title is Systems Administrator, but other companies will refer to me as a Systems Programmer or Systems Engineer, depending. That's enough of a mouthful no matter which you choose, I'd say.
I was a telemarketer once, though: Telecommunications Marketing Analyst
I had a summer job as a roofer: Residential Weatherproofing Technician
And I had a temp job once in a warehouse, specifically installing blinking lights into the heels of shoes prior to delivery to the stores: Footwear Illumination and Distribution Technician

First, the high falutin' title:
On call personal assistant, facilitator, advocate, remembrancer, reacher, porter, medical interfacer, wardrobe assistant, nutritionist, buyer, door supervisor, call screener, researcher, messenger, occupational therapist, pain relief technician...
Now the actual label - so-called informal carer. I do it full time, while careworkers get sick leave and the chance to clock off.
