Ever get the feeling that the whole world is playing a really big joke on you and at any moment everyone is gonna turn round and go "ha ha!"

sometimes but not today.

today i got peed on, which considering my job (old peoples home) is not that unusual but to day i was wearing open toed shoes

yup..n whatever youre doing open shoes always lead to trouble!

Today I decided to go swimming at 8am...so did everyone (well not quite *everyone*) else. The pool was really busy and I had to swim in the semi-fast lane as the other lanes were full of old trouts that swim like they're on valium. I decided 20 lengths would do.

So if you are going to get your breathing wrong, swallow water and half drown which length would it be on? Yep, number 13! *and* I was out of my depth so had to hang on to the lane rope looking like an eejit.

Next time I'll stay in bed.

You should have come to our pool
we went at 12 (noon) and usually it's not too full, but today it was nearly empty. The whole thing was being used by about 20 people. I got 40 lengths done before the Gruesomes even asked if they could go on the slide.

But in general, yes, I spend my live in a perpetual state of waiting for everyone to jump up and shout "fooled you!!"

I wore trainers today, so no wet feet but just before i went home i sat on a wet chair and ended up with a wet bum!!
