Oh let's just have a salad, shall we?

Hmmm, well I've heard that some fish carry parasites that are almost impossible to get rid of once ingested by humans. For this reason dishes like ceviche and marinated anchovies are now considered unsafe to eat. And I wonder about sushi.

A restaurant I worked at in Bristol stopped serving ceviche because of this. And the ex-president of Spain once made a public suggestion that tapa bars stop serving marinated anchovies (which are smiley - drool by the way, but I stopped eating them after hearing they could be dodgy).

And speaking of ceviche, is it just me or does anyone else think that fresh coriander tastes like soap?

A Super Furry Animal

Naah, live dangerously! If I stopped eating all the things that were "bad" for me, I'd be mostly eating...err...water.

Sho - employed again!

I don't think it's that he doesn't actually like salad, I think it's just that for him, at least, the preparation is too much for the end result.

He's a desserts smiley - chef anyway smiley - drool

I know a guy whose idea of salad is the parsley garnish on his enormous steak.

Heresy! Fresh coriander is lovely, and not at all soapy. Actually, I think quite a lot of people reckon it tastes soapy, but... well... they're all wrong.

Thanks for telling me about the parasites az, now just wait a minute while I repress that memory so I can go back to eating delicious semi-raw tuna without worrying.

Almost...

Gone. Now what were we talking about?
