2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 21, 2005
I'll have to try this now I've finally got me smartphone up and going But, can we use the HTTP web doobry on the phones to go to the 'normal' h2g2 and be able to post etc?

Not with normal phones, no. You need cookies and javascript in order to log in, and to the best of my knowledge the only mobile phones that come with javascript support are smartphones. PDA users should have no problem logging into the site and post normally, the plain skin works extremely well on those

Java and javascript aren't the same thing. However, the only way to check it'll work is to give it a go.
