i checked the mobile version - it worked smiley - biggrin

the first time i did it i checked my credit before and after and there was no change (smiley - ermh2g2 for freesmiley - cool) but i did it again a minute ago and it cost me 70c smiley - sadface

I'll have to try this now I've finally got me smartphone up and going smiley - evilgrin But, can we use the HTTP web doobry on the phones to go to the 'normal' h2g2 and be able to post etc? smiley - bigeyessmiley - evilgrin

Not with normal phones, no. You need cookies and javascript in order to log in, and to the best of my knowledge the only mobile phones that come with javascript support are smartphones. PDA users should have no problem logging into the site and post normally, the plain skin works extremely well on those smiley - smiley

Java and javascript aren't the same thing. However, the only way to check it'll work is to give it a go.
