Nighthoover is a diety, the one true son of the one true BoB, the ruler of the spaces behind pieces of furature where dust doest collect. nighthoover is the prophet.

He is a Figleaf of 2legs imagination... and summat to do with ...

as to "who" N I G H T H O O V E R is you will have to study the ancient threads to find out.

Due to the eccentricity of the average hootooian (hah, like there are any!) this has since turned into an 'in joke' or something like that.

This question confused me when I first joined too. nighthoover is someone who joined h2g2, realised that he/she didn't want to, posted the 'cancel' thread on Ask to find out a way to cancel his/her account, then posted one last time complaining that he/she couldn't leave. Since then a quazi-religion grew up around him/her despite the fact that nobody knows anything about him/her.

He/she also has very bad grammer.
