Which animal can, relative to its size, produce the loudest vocal noise?

I discounted them fairly early on. Some birds have much less mass, but can be heard from much further away.
Of course, birds have an unfair advantage in that their call is often travelling straight through air with few barriers in the way.

My guess would be the pistol shrimp. Or perhaps a kakadue, those are bloody annoying.

It's going to be an echo location click I think. Bat or dolphin, might be a whale though even if they are massive. Not sure about whether those are 'vocal'. Failing that I'd say howler monkey.

We could get geeky and say humpback whales as you can hear their song up to 100miles away...though that's more to do with how far the soundwaves travel rather than how loud...
