Dog bite (uk) ~ Who's at 'fault'?
I'm not really here Posted Feb 8, 2005
" A home owner has a duty of care to anyone that comes onto their property - even to some degree to intruders. The Beware of the Dog sign has no relevance."
Well, I have a bloody great sign up that says 'no leaflets' but idiots still put their leaflets through the door. My dog is extremely unlikely to bite, but if they damage themselves some other way, or he does have a funny turn and bites, then they only have themselves to blame for ignoring the signs!
Considering so many people have a dog for protection - I know I wouldn't feel safe in the house without mine - then people coming to your house should make sure that they take notice of any notices and trust that they are there for a reason.
