Mine was Knightmare. Oh yes. Bring it back!
Extra special prize if anyone can remember a cartoon called Pole Position. That was amazing.

Spellcasting... D-I-S-M-I-S-S
Treguard was a legend. Way better than that dude off Raven, which I guess is the modern equivalent of Knightmare, except Scottish and devoid of excitement.
Thundercats was also a pinnacle of childhood television. I used to run home from school to watch it... literally.

I'd be showing my age if I said the Clangers, wouldn't I?
Being a parent means you get to enjoy all the kids TV again. I enjoyed Kipper, with its cool jazzy soundtrack.

Blue Peter. I used to send off for all the instructions on how to make the great things they had made each week. My fav was the model hospital. Mine never looked the same though I drove my mum mad asking for sticky tape and washin up bottles to be saved

Thunderbirds. Which we watched mainly on video. We had a TV for a brief period of our childhood. It was kept in the parent's bedroom, so it wasn't easily accessible. We almost never watched it. Except for Thunderbirds. Wonderful stuff!
All together, now. 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... Thunderbirds are go!

Can't remember the name of the show but my favourite programme was a BBC2 one where the contestants had to cross the Vortex and get buzzed by aliens!
I did quite fancy Hank from Dungeons and Dragons though so that was my favourite cartoon.

Ðeakie, was it The Adventure Game? The winners got onto the intergalactic bus to return to earth. Uncle was an Aspidistra? That was a great show!

What IS, or what WAS? Very different questions, you see.
I think mine probably WAS "The Mysterious Cities of Gold". That was one I rushed home for.

The Adventure Game, that was it!! Been sitting here all night trying to explain it to Hubbie who obviously thinks I'm a lunatic when I mention aliens and plants and jumping triangles to him! Thanks FF!

When the family are together (at Christmas, for instance), every now and then one of my uncles will say "The Aspadistra is talking!" and everyone from the generation above me laughs. My siblings and I don't get it.
Damn you, Adventure Game!

Ah, yes...Eric was who I was thinking of but from what I could remember I didn't think it would be him you had your eye on. I remember more of them from the pictures. Venger didn't come up, but didn't eh have a big horn on the back of his head?
Did anyone else watch Dogtanian?

Yup, Venger did have a big silly horn sticking out of his head!
All for one and one for all, the Muskahounds are always ready.
Oooh, and Prince Valiant! I remember Philip Schofield getting thousands of requests for the theme track for that!
I watched waaaaay too much TV as a child, obviously!
