What happened to Hoo?

I only just found out that Hoo's* done a runner, although I'd been wondering for while why I hadn't seen him. What happened?
*aka SoRB

According to himself he was bullied off the site. You know how sensitive SoRB is. Apparently is was the way he was not allowed to mention things like how almost every terrorist action in the last decade has been done by muslims.

I think he inadvertantly made a comment he disagreed with and the ensuing causility maelstrom engulfed his entire timeline creating a fundamental reality inconsistency and he popped out of existence in a puff of smoke.
Apparently this sort of thing happens all the time.

I thought it was something really complicated, like girl trouble or something, but I could very easily be wrong .
Whatever it was, it's a bit of a bummer.
Come back Hoovooloo / SoRB, go on, you know you want to...
I guess no one has said anything idiotic enough to deserve his attention, although I find that slightly hard to believe

He left a journal entry explaining why he was going, which was then removed. I think vogonpoet is right, though: it was rather messy, by all accounts.
He still has his YouTube account, so we may be able to track him down there.

Shame, really.
Love him or hate him, one must admit his oft acerbic posts provided some seriously golden moments

/Ascerbic/ really is a perfect word to describe SoRB, isn't it? Me too, actually, but only when I'm proofreading.

Well, he's still around, but he's changed his persona to fluffykerfuffle.
He did this because he was being stalked by an ex girlfriend and didn't want her to do an Amanda Montani on him.

Well that would be becasue those are the only ones you hear about in the western media Xan.
Still never mind that you're wrong on both counts.
I envy Hoo his ability to cut off from correcting/arguing against the kind of rubbish you post.

Blicky: That was essentially what I saw him say. Wether I agree with that is another matter.

It would have been clearer to me Xan if you had said that "this is what Hoo said" in your original post

Well I was paraphrasing. I know he also had a bad break up with another hootooer, but I didn´t get the impression that had much to do with it.
Key: Complain about this post
