i cannot afford to be miss understood by mis representation, or the deliberate twisting of my words.

as to using medi eval weapons...maybe, but i like lazers myself.
the point is, if the "allies" had looked at every invention man has ever created, and then selected all the best tools, conventional, unconventional, damn right wacky,.
the purpose of your selection, is the specific and unerring removal (top down) of the power systems of the "axis".
if they continued to fight, then eventually, they would run out of leaders- causing a rabble army.
normaly people would say this is a bad thing, but combined with tactics designed to run rings aroung an organised mob whilst causing minimum loss of life. if they invade a land, just move out of the way, and keep moving..
between leadrlessness and impotent they would posses a lesser threat long enough for diplomacy, economic assistanst(probably the reason for going to war in the first place), and the institution of peace advocating leaders!
every one should be different, but we MUST have common law, and stop anyone that breaks the mould too much in a negative manner.

One small point Gigabane that seems to escaped you. In 1940 lasers did not exist. They were an invention yet to come and they still do not exist as weapons.

Gigabane, you are a classic example of we used to politely call in the Army, muddled thinking.
