and how does that applie to those that are Bi-sexual, and do not chose there partner with any relation to their sex but on personality emotions.

What a load of b******s I always try to think of society as a thing that evolves, and develops, moving foward, progressing, then lunatics like this open their mouth and put pen to paper, and all mannorism of facies issues forth...

I do indeed believe there is a cure for homosexuality, bi-sexuality and even the common cold. For the first two, you get VERY comfortable in your own skin. Then you make a conscious effort to live your OWN life and the best human you can be. Lastly, let others live theirs. Any lifestyle, chosen or imposed by nature, that does not harm anyone else and is not foisted upon anyone else, is fine by me and should be considered just as valid as any other.

As to the common cold, a similar cure to the only ultimate one for homophobes, is to take a stiff belt of the medicinal and lock yourself away from the rest of the world until you're better. If it takes a lifetime to cure any or all of the above, perhaps your being out of circulation is a plus for everyone else.

That article in the Grauniad reminds me that if society was more tolerant of people's differences, there would be no need for this claptrap.

How can what two consenting adults get up to in privacy have anything to do with anyone else? And I realise that it's not always simple but if people could be more open about what they were, a lot of the problems would not arise.

On a slightly differet tack - there was an interesting discussion yesterday on R5, ahead of a tv prog next Mon and Tues about people who are inter-sex.
Two of the studio guests were born inter-sex and have lived with appalling prejudice and suffered painful surgical interventions. Their final comments gave food for thought; both said that we need to stop thinking about there being only two genders, male and female, and start accepting that Mother Nature sometimes adds a little more variety.(I paraphrase)

And what about the animals? T'aint be just us 'umans that go in for same sex relations

How come people can think these things? It's so STUPID!

I thought that same-sex relationships were often far longer than heterosexual marraige! I mean 2 out of 3 marraiges end in divorce and everything, how could they be MORE bad!! And how can they put it all into a box like that! /My/ relationship isn't volatile, not at all!

It seems a part of the growing trend in the USA to embrace Christian fundamentalism and thereby trample on people's basic human rights.
