He sounds too much like a Celine Dion nightmare.

He does hit the falsettos rather too easily. smiley - erm

I jwas at the time of posting (and several times since) undergoing that rather unnerving experience of having that a replicating unit of information: rather sweet tempo change around the 1:20 mark, lodged in my brain, repeating endlessly.

This bears repeating Clive:

Your observation: "...having that replicating unit of information: rather sweet tempo change around the 1:20 mark, lodged in my brain, repeating endlessly."

I had said something about it reminding me of Celine Dion earlier.
Now I understand that it was the 'psuedo-angelic' quality of the voices deliberately engineered to contrast the equally ersatz demonic quality of the guitar riffs. The drummer may actually be quite good. I thought I heard him miss the volume of a beat, something a computer wouldn't let me do. If that is a human being and not a machine on drums I have to say I'm impressed. And the lyrics, now that I've read them and can barely make out what is being sung, are, if not profound, certainly contributory to the overall emotional effect. I stopped short of banging my head or waving my lighter in the air.

The wavelength gently grows
Coercive ntions will evolve
A universe is trapped inside a tear.

It resonates the core
creates unnatural laws
replace this life of happiness with fear.

Oooooh. Ahhh.

How much deception can you take?
how many lies will you create?
how much longer 'till you break?
Your mind's about to fall.

and they're breaking through....through...through... ooh ...ooh...oooh. x3
WE ARE LOOSING CONTROL
and they're breaking through....through...through... ooh ...ooh...oooh. x3
No we're falling we are loosing control.

Invisible to all
The mind becomes a wall
All history deleted with one stroke.

Oooooh. Ahhh.

How much deception can you take?
how many lies will you create?
how much longer 'till you break?
Your mind's about to fall.

and they're breaking through. ....Ooooooooooaaaaaaahhhh! x3

smiley - laugh
Any alterations from the original (as found under 'more info' at the link)
can only be counted as improvements!
Oooh? Ahhh?
smiley - ok

There is an a-rhythmic quality in the several changes of tempo, especially
the one you observed, which seems to imply some human interference
with the usual soul-numbing power of soul-less computer generated,
digitized 'music'.

smiley - cheers
