Why is it that parents who are supposed to know their sons and daughters dont have a clue what to buy them for Christmas?

I didn't need a Christmas list from my parents to work out what to get them or the rest of my family

Parents know how picky their kids are about it being *exactly* the right thing. They know that *almost* the right thing will bring about a worse reaction than nothing at all.
Parents also know that *exactly* the right thing last year may well be exactly the wrong thing this year. My daughter has now written "Barbie sucks" on her Barbie wellies. She was desperate for them a year ago. I'm assuming you're beyond the Barbie wellies stage of life, but the principle still applies.

Well, I've got a pair of size 2s going spare if you want, a bit scuffed and with added grafitti, but you're more than welcome!

Laughing!
I don't think pink's really your colour anyway.
I'm feeling pretty awful, and yet a lot better as well. If that makes sense. You?

Before you go, can I ask about the word 'parts' in the last post.
Does it mean any particular parts, or was it just a general metaphor?

Yes Beta, you certainly wouldn´t want to miss out on an opportunity for sexual innuendos would you.

After the toy stage I think the best gift for one's kids is currentcy and let them sort out what they want to spend it on.
Oh yes, for Trailer Park Barbie - a carton of generic cigarettes and several scratch off loto tickets.
