h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi all,
I hope you can direct me to some sources or have advice. I am in the USA, in the now frozen tundra of Minnesota. I work as an mechanical, manufacturing engineer. I would like to improve my writing for reports and recommendations. One key deal is to be very short, so other will read the report or recommendation. The other is I need to tailor a document to suit the technical and non-technical audience. I was thinking about using two separate documents to better meet the needs of all. I also do some creative writing and enjoy that when I have the time. Pop me any feedback or related past experiences you may have. Have a great Holiday, John

The best way to learn to write is to write. Write a few entries, then let us know the A numbers of them and we'll have a look at them and make suggestions.

I posted just one essay. I have some reports I will post soon. Happy New Year.
