Clouding over at lunch time ...

Post 1

Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki

I remember when I was at school being told that due to the angle of incidence of the sun or something like that, even on the nicest and bestest summer days in the UK, it often clouds over at noon. Can someone put me out of my misery?!?

I stand by the fact that it does and will continue to do so until someone tells me otherwise! People never believe me even when the clouds dissipate an hour or so later ... am i going mad? Did I invent it?

No...it's just clouds that follow you around. Wherever you go, clouds will follow. At lunchtime. When there's a "U" in the month.

...and as the players head off for lunch the cloud cover seems to be increasing, oh, how unusual a fleet of small space craft has landed off stump and some appropiately dressed aliens are wondering on to the pitch. Now what kidn of sofa do you think that is?'
'Almost certainly a chesterfield, and I imagine as the players wonder off to the pavilion for earl gray and cucumber sandwichs, they too will be considering the chesterfield sofa and its bearing on game play this afternoon.'
'Anyhow, as I was saying, the cloud cover really does seem to be rolling in this lunchtime, in fact it reminds me of the 1989 tour when.......'
