A Conversation for Ask h2g2

Submissions

Okay, I can't find a place where I can ask you guys this directly, but this might turn out better in the long run anyways, so here i'goes: Why can the authors only submit their own guide entries? Or, more to the point, why can the average resarcher nominate an entry?
What I'm getting at is this: you editors must have an awful lot to look at, getting submissions from every body with a mind to churn out any old peice of meaningless information. I think that if people had the ability to nominate an article for submisson, you would have an easier time and we reaserchers wouldn't have to wait so long for the offical review our hard work.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
