I have just put the cat outside to do his what nots, and as i was out there i put 2 empty cans of cat food in the bin.

A piece of plastic that came off the packet the noodles I had last night came in, it had remained on teh worktop in the kitchen when I'd thrown the packet away last night, and I found it a little while ago whilst pouring some coffee

an apple core and the remains of the green transluscent plastic packaging from a Thorntons easter egg.

The Gruesomes made themselves green tinted sunglasses out of the Thorntons thing and an old cornflake packet.

A used tissue

A pair of very small monitor speakers I got over two years ago, second hand, for a purpose I can't remember, but which I remember they weren't any good for, never found a use for them, though they work as far as I know, but I'm clearing out gunk... tomorrow, I'll put a pair of rear surround speakers in the main bin, and the old speakers from my old Hi-Fi, are still waiting downstairs to find there way in the bin.

An empty pack of panda licorice, a 'lady's thing', the inner tray of my choclate box, a mini disc wrapper and probably the entire morning.


That's a very interesting survey, mind you. It reads like one of those poetry writing excercises. Lets see if I can do it.....

BIN

Running alongside my dustbin
My time sways in certain movement and won't give in,
It won't wait.
But the mini disc is now naked before me ready
With infinite possibilty,
And the choclate box's inner layer lies helpless
Like gold before my hungry eyes,
No matter that the moon has moved me into moody days
It'll soon be over and black panda says
'Life is good life is great,
EAstern wisdom is to treat yourself well,
Eat good food, for it is within
That the truth has an an upwards swell'.

Ok the last line's a bit bristly innit?? And oh the inevitable irony, the choclate box and inner wisdom, pah! FOiled!

Half a packet of fine soya mince, half a packet of soya chunks (no vegetarians in household for nearly two years) and a packet of manioc flour that I'd bought for creating some Brazilian dish, never got round to using and some insect had chewed a corner - it was spreading everywhere.
All contents to pig bin, all plastic to general rubbish bin.

One of our guests over winter had rearranged my dry goods shelf and I was putting it back to "I know where everything is!". Discovered 8 tins of tomatoes and 6 tins of beansprouts!

Emptied the kitchen bin into the outside bin not long ago, then after I'd put in a new linner in the kitchen bin, I emptied the coffee grinds from teh coffee machine, before washing up

An empty bucket (well, you can't exactly call it a cup when it's the best part of a litre, can you?)
