the last time i saw a 5.5 floppy was in 1996 or was it 1995 I remember thinking at the time, cor, I've not seen one of these for ages.....

Ford Prefects.
Knitted tea cosies.
Machines where you put in a coin and an animated puppet inside a glass box moves for a few seconds.
Machines where you put in a coin and it will emboss your name on a strip of metal.

Little old ladies all dressed in black with small hats pinned to their heads.

Gary Larson retired a few years ago, so the Far Side calendars are not so common anymore.
8 inch floppy disks look exactly the same as 5.25 inch ones except a lot bigger.
