Haylle (Nyssabird) ? mg to recovery

It occurred to me some time ago that I have a problem - I can't seem to be content with just one beverage in front of me. At the moment - and it's still midmorning - I've got a cherry coke, some irish creme coffee, some fizzy cranberry juice, and some water in front of me and I've also been drinking Dr Pepper. When I go to restaurants I always order at least coffee and another beverage, and often end up with coffee, and alcoholic drink, a soda, and water, just to be balanced. Anyone else do this? Do I have some sort of odd compulsion? (Calling all armchair psychologists smiley - winkeye)...

I never buy just one chocolate bar. I've never had that particular compulsion, though. When I do have multiple drinks in front of me, it is because I am having a large meal with family, including wine, aperetif (pre-meal drink) and often a soft drink. In these cases, I end up trying to take sips of each in turn, even when they don't go properly with the food.

I can't drink coffee without a cold drink as well - otherwise it just makes me thirstiersmiley - weird

And I used to buy double vodkas and a can of coke separatly - mainly because I could down the vodka and drink the coke to quench my thirst....oh and it worked out cheaper too

Only because you get a full can of coke to drink instead of £1s worth of tasteless fizz. Only works with pubs that sells cans though - not bottlessmiley - sadface

That would be the problem. I don't like coffee, so I have nor reason to drink something after it. However, I do often have a seperate drink at the same time as soup.

Maybe it's an oral compulsion. I don't drink that many things, but oftentimes I'll alternate between chewing really strong mint gum (Dentyne Ice) and drinking Coke.
