Bob. I don't know who Bob is, but he's gotta be better than Dubya.

Joseph Lieberman.
Dunno if he'd be any good, but for those more progressive types, he'd be the USA's first Jewish president.

Bugs Bunny.
After all, the previous incumbent was Pepe la Pew, his vice-president was Mickey Mouse, and Goofy is presently in the oval office.

Ooooooh...great topic for a thread!
Let's oust the warmongering cowboy fumbler of Texas for...let's get these Sopranos out of government (to quote George Clooney! ) placing my bets upon the Democrat frontrunner (at the moment) John Kerry! He's been tipped early by the Democrats & is probably their best placed to challenge Bush & the Republicans on security (given his war record! ).
Nothing against Lieberman at all but he seems quite BushLite to me as well as being Jewish which isn't a problem, but could serve to further alienate Arab opinion at a time when bridges may need to be built in the aftermath of a Gulf War.
John Edwards is too young @ the moment, but a tip for the future!
Howard Dean is a good candidate, but being from wee ickle Vermont, his profile is gonna need a boost! (Stick him in the Health Secretary's Office as he had did great things with health in Vermont! )
Failing all them: Barney the loveable cuddly dinosaur or Elmo of Sesame Street fame!
Anyone'll be an improvement on the present mob!

I should be elected President of the US. I'm mostly harmless and having been unemployed before I can "feel the pain" of the 2 million employees that have been laid-off over the last few years. I couldn't do a worst job as president than the last 10 presidents.
So vote for me,

Someone who actually gets more votes than the other candidates would be nice.
Maybe the USA should try a woman President for a change. Okay, so it wasn't the greatest period for Britain when we had a woman Prime Minister, but the men since her haven't done a grand job either so I don't think we can conclude that women make bad leaders.
It'd be fun

Maybe we could marry one (or both if your feeling rowdy) of Bush's Daughters to Blair's son and proclaim their offsprin the Next ruler of Both countries

Does it make a difference who's President if the same people are still in charge?
A new prime minister in this country (UK) made no difference for exactly that reason.
