i suspect that post 1 with the song in it has been moderated because of copywrite reasons. i don't think post 1 gave the name of the person who wrote the song (i initailly thought it was the researcher who posted it)

I might be being ignorant, but was the song removed because of copyright, because it's not original ( I think it has been doing the round of emails) or because it was deemed offensive/improper?

The song itself I suspected (and partly still do) of being removed for copyright reasons. But the fact that the link to a fully credited version has now also disappeared makes me rather suspect someone was offended by it. Ah well, I can see their point I guess, even if I'd prefer the idea of people making up their own minds without omnipotent moderators...

iv'e asked the mods for clarification on why the credited link was removed. will let you know what i find out.

i might go back and ask them what they mean. i don't really get that the link was more "unsuitable" than what a lot of people are saying about the war on h2g2 anyway.
