Black cat: evil curse carrier?

You mean future generations may scare their children with the Microsoft Salesman?
Black cat: evil curse carrier?
Hapi - Hippo #5 Posted Jan 6, 2003
Fascinating.. and then.. what would scientists (at that time) make of this sort of superstition.. would they recognise the microsoft name? would they make the sun sign (with two fingers) to avoid the evil? Would they relate it to the battle of the twin gods Bill and Linus, that lasted more than twenty years?

First off please take this post in the fun it was intended, remember that I mean no insult to you, your familiar... umm cat, or any other family member.
Hapi wrote the following: I do own a black cat (or it owns me). I have -until now- not noticed any evil spells, misfortune, whatever.
Since you are the owner of the curse delivery vehicle, this makes you the potential, alleged witch. Asking you if you have seen any evil spells being delivered is like asking your 5 year old if he ate the cookies....
We must give your neighbors the 3rd degree on this, you must post hast, right now, without reservation give us your zip code so we can send the SWAT team in to find out if any neighbor's cows have died, or chickens quit laying or other bad things occuring.
Please note 66603 is the zip code for Topeka KS, USA and I know some devils live there. But that is another story.

Good luck!!!! I never heard of that and I was lucky enough to live in England for 6 years before I moved to Greece, and then to Italy. But then maybe they are good luck to the owner because my black cat has traveled with me. In case you can't tell superstituons are some of my favorite things. Don't get me started on Christian beliefs and the pagan underpinnings of it.

I've got a and a black and white one, they don't bother too much with birds & the local foxes keep most rodents under control, but they are partial to squirrels, we keep finding their tails on the back lawn I think they use them to floss with after they've dined

Ah, well .. you should note that -as far as I know- just the female line of the family was known to do what was thought of as "magick".
I think I am safe.
As for my daughter.. I think she is quite normal.. I mean.. it is quite normal to get a broomstick aviation license at the age of 16? She is not too late with that?? And she steers clear of all regular airports, has an ALR and VCR equipped broom.. nothing wrong with that!
And as for the neigbour's cow.. that is just a rumour.. the vet could explain it all..well.. his wife could really.. And this lightning striking the neighbor's across the street: well.. these things happen.. elementary statistics?
No, I assure you.. absolutely normal..

I learned something while I was in Greece. Be careful dating gypsy girls. 1) If their mother is of the witch persuasion and does not like you, you are going to be cursed, and not just cursed at. and B) if your girlfiend is of the witchy bend she will curse you if you misbehave, or treat her badly. So you better watch out. But on the otherhand, a gypsy friend is fun to hang out with. THey know how to party.

Have you ever seen the witch doll that people smack into the side of their house. I think that is rude. No decent broom weilding witch would drive into hte side of the house, well unless they were really drunk.

Yah..that's just a silly attempt to mislead real witches..

The dead apple juice the British call Cider right? I love that stuff, can't get enough of it when I pass through the UK.

Most Cider's bl**dy awful and good farmhouse scrumpy is very hard to get.
Prefer the myself. Doesn't seem to affect the broomstick control unduly, but then the technology's so advanced these days - what did they do without self-navigating besoms in the old days, eh? And with cruise control I can do my knitting on long trips.

Oh nice.. cruise control.. and voice control I assume?

Well this conversation has been fun but no additions to my curse carrier "rules." Bummer. Ah well, on to other thoughts.
