I have been searching over the last 4 years for a hard back copy of the Guide trilogy that was produced. It is a special edition which was presented in a shiny silver cover. If anyone knows of the publisher, ISBN number of name of any bookstore where this can still be purchased can they e-mail me at [email protected].
Thanks

I've got a copy of the book to which I think you're referring. It's called "The Illustrated Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," and though it doesn't contain all three of the original books, it does have a nifty silverish foil cover. I'd sooner die than part with my copy, but I found one for sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=178262680
Good luck!
