lamingtons are small sponge cakes covered in a jam or choc mixtire and then covered in coconut. With or without fresh whiped cream.
Run-balls are like truffles with acohol added. coconut and loads of choc. The only thing with sultanas that my wife will eat

Sometimes you get 'em with jam and cream and stuff. Depends on where you're buying 'em and how much they cost. But they all have those loathsome white shreds all over the outside, so I don't tend to purchase them often.

I mean the coating on the sponge, do you have rasberry lamingtons? The pictures I saw of aussia lamingtons looked like set choc on the outside.

Found something
At the top of the menu there is a camera next to the entry on lamingtons. Clack it to get a pop-up window with a big picture

Ahhh. I see what you mean. Yeah, you can get 'em with raspberry or chocolate. Or maybe a few other flavours.

To waste more posting space They shouldn't be just set chocolate on the outside, it should just be that nice chocolate syrup that soaks into the cake. There. Maybe I shouldn't post when I've only just got up.

syrup that's the word I was looking for
as for not posting, people post here after and while drinking. So I don't think sleepy is going to bother anyone.

my grandmother made the best pickles and cakes and breads...
and *I* (not my mother or my aunt or my sister or my cousins) inherited her handwritten recipe books.
