I'm trying to remember a song by a female Arabic/Egyptian singer. I think it was from the 80s but it could have been early 90s. Anybody got any ideas. smiley - cheers

I think you're looking for Ofra Haza.

She was middle eastern and did a number of pop records with that sort of wailing sound over the top. Very good, very effective smiley - ok
