Could I send one to me telling me that IT is not the exciting, rewarding and dynamic industry that I was told it was?

Either that or 'Sell Marconi shares'

Although on a more serious ( erm ) note I'd probably have to go for Da Vinci. Thing is, I'd want more of a conversation to try and work out what went on in his head, try and gain some understanding of his thought process.

IT bizz is only exciting if do it right
...here comes free advice from pheloxi

- never rush into a creating a business (tomorrow is another day)
- do some related research ((web)design - market - competion)
- first try to make your company known with small things (free software)
- listen to comments of costumers.
- keep it broadrange of products (software and advice)
- do not take advice of media trainers* or press agencies

* Anne Robinson gives that advice too!

Could I go back to 1987 and tell Dustin Hoffman not to make 'Ishtar'?

Seriously, my message would be to John Fitzgerald Kennedy. It would arrive on November 21st, 1963 and read 'keep your head down!'
