Sorry.
I dislike avocadoes, but I'm in love with olives.. So yeah.
Wait, do you mean black or green olives?
'Cos green olives are putrid.

i find all olives vile, especially the big black ones.
but i like the look of those black avocados. the skin is VERY pretty, but hides a most disturbing interior.

I love black olives..

Avocadoes are creepy.. They're all mooshy. I'll eat 'em, but they're just gross.

I love them both and have had them at the same time in a delicious salad.

I'm with Caerwynn on this one. Love 'em both, and frequently use them together in salads, (with sundried tomatoes, and maybe some feta and maybe not).

Olives (black *and* green) are on the same scale as Marmite with me.
My only two serious dislikes in the food arena.

However...
I really really *do* like Olive oil. Yum
It's the difference between likeing Vanilla Ice cream but not wanting to drink a bottle of Vanilla Essence

Oh right. it's a spread to put on toast that is made from the Yeast extract left over when you brew beer.
It's very very salty and
I used to run a poll on it here (you either like it or hate it) but gave it up after several months of people thinking that following me around in forums making jokes would remain funny six months later...
It's still around somewhere...
The guide also has an ariticle on Marmite somewhere also...

Sounds putrescent.
*snicker* Sometimes people just don't get it.. It's only funny for THREE months after the jokes are first made..

I love Marmite too, its celebrating its centenary this year!
Peter, the salad I had was made with feta cheese and the most wonderful dressing, slightly orange flavoured.

Cheese is good.. However, I fear fruit flavored salad dressing.. I'm a ranch/caesar girl myself.. Sounds like a pretty yummy salad, though..
