There was a cover version with the lyrics spoken in deadpan
by a Chinese or Japanese lady and a very clangy piano beat.
Was that the Flying Lizards or another cover ??

ok....it must be..The Flying Lizards version..i was trying to rememerber..it was a deadpan voice....again everyone..due to my access here..it's very likely i won't be able to access this thread again..i'll write down..Money-The Flying Lizards..so i don't forget it again....

I thought the Flying Lizards version was the original. But then I'm of the right age to have had no memory of the Beatles, yet to be geting into music about the time that the Flying Lizards etc took off.
