It was the arched window for me. I've always wanted a house with arched windows - perhaps playschool made more of an impression than I thought.

Brian Cant was my favourite. Did anyone else regress to childhood when they hear his voice?

...and by the way Hamble and Hartley Hare were both scarey - but Hamble more so if she had moved or spoken!

Just checked on IMDB and according to them Jeremy Irons was in Play Away (it's his first credited entry) but not Play School.

Brian Cant was brilliant. Did you know he also narrated Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Chigley?
