Which window, in your opinion, has the best stuff through it?
a) The round window
b) the suare window
c) the arched window
d) other
My own choice is arched: this window had the most groovy things through it. What does everyone else think?

In Playschool the soft toys were just that, soft toys, with real people (Floella Benjamin, Brian Cant, et al) taking the lead role. In Playdays they were puppets with the people almost secondary.
I also seem to recall Playdays was more outdoor than Playschool (studio based).

Hamble is in HAnts, next to Southampton (althought there might be other villages with the same name).
I recall not caring what was through the window but always wanting it to be the arched window. Dunno why though Must have been a kiddie thing.

I always wanted it to be the round window....and frankly Hamble scared me (but not as much as Hartley Hare fom Pipkins), Little Ted was my fave and I always used to laugh every time Jemima fell over (all the time cos she was *very* floppy and you could see the frustration on the presenters faces when they tried to sit her up!!)

Humpty was my fave and somewhere in my parents house there is no doubt still a very bashed humpty that was also my fave real cuddly toy when I was a lad.

Hartley Hare, his Birmingham accent really scared me, it just didn't seem right on a rabbit.
